Furthermore, non-tax state revenue (PNBP) realization grew by 5.5% (yoy) to Rp302.1 trillion during the first six months of this year. This realization reached 68.5% of the 2023 target of Rp441.4 trillion.

On the other hand, state expenditure realization amounted to Rp1,255.7 trillion in the first half of 2023, growing slightly by 0.9% (yoy) compared to the same period last year, which was Rp1,244.9 trillion.

With higher revenue realization than state expenditure, the Indonesian APBN recorded a surplus of Rp152.3 trillion in the first half of 2023. This surplus is equivalent to 0.71% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
