Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (22/5/2024) at 13.01 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, broiler chicken meat, chicken eggs, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, kembung fish, shallots, premium rice, and shallots have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken meat experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp970 (2.64%) to Rp37,690 per kg. Shallots saw the lowest price decrease, down by Rp1,060 (1.72%) to Rp60,710 per kg.
