West Java Food Prices Tuesday (January 7th): Beef and Salt Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (7/1/2025) at 13:47 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, premium rice, dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, SPHP rice, broiler chicken, chicken eggs, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most by Rp4,670 (5.33%) to Rp92,340 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili decreased the most by Rp840 (1.45%) to Rp57,190 per kg.
