Food Prices Today, January 15, in Indonesia: Onions Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (15/1/2026) at 14:24 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are large red chili and Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red onion, curly red chili, hind beef, broiler chicken meat, and red bird's eye chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Honan garlic commodity jumped the highest by Rp100 (0.26%) to Rp39,300 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili fell the deepest by Rp600 (1.5%) to Rp39,300 per kg.

5. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp41,600 per kg (down 0.24%)
6. Curly Red Chili: Rp39,300 per kg (down 1.5%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp39,300 per kg (up 0.26%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp33,500 per kg (stable)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp22,300 per liter (stable)
