Premium Quality Sugar Price in Papua: Rp 18,850 per Kg (Thursday, April 20, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of premium granulated sugar (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces reaching Rp 14,750 per kg, as of Thursday, April 20, 2023. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 14,570 per kg.

The daily price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets in Papua was the highest in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 18,850 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of premium granulated sugar in this province is higher; previously recorded at Rp 13,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in West Sulawesi, premium granulated sugar was sold at Rp 18,000 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of premium granulated sugar in Riau was Rp 17,500 per kg, Southeast Sulawesi Rp 16,000 per kg, and Jambi Rp 15,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, 14 provinces had premium granulated sugar sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for premium granulated sugar were DKI Jakarta, Riau Islands, and Banten.
