West Java Food Prices, Tuesday (June 4th): What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (4/6/2024) at 12:58 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, red chilies, medium rice, bulk cooking oil, and corn at the farmer level.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, broiler chicken meat, garlic cloves, simple packaged cooking oil, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel fish saw the highest increase of Rp2,530 (6.79%) to Rp39,790 per kg. The price of iodized fine salt saw the lowest decrease of Rp130 (1.24%) to Rp10,360 per kg.
