Today's Food Prices in Central Java: Salt Up, Oil Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (21/9/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, SPHP rice, milkfish, granulated sugar, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, Indian mackerel, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp1,260 (11.26%) to Rp12,450 per kg. Bulk cooking oil experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,180 (7.15%) to Rp15,330 per liter.
