According to daily commodity price data from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center, chicken egg prices in South Sumatra have risen by 55.41% in a week.

Compared to prices 30 days prior, the price of chicken eggs in this region has increased by 54.59%. This signifies a significant surge within a month. Furthermore, compared to the last year's prices, the current selling price of chicken eggs in South Sumatra's modern markets is the highest on record.

From January to July 2022, the price of chicken eggs in modern markets has steadily increased, rising 54.59% compared to the previous month.

Chicken egg prices reached their lowest point at Rp 28,950 per kg on Monday, June 27, 2022. The highest price this year reached Rp 29,450 per kg.

Nationally, chicken egg prices began to rise towards the end of 2021. The average price of chicken eggs in modern markets is Rp 30,740 per kg, a 9.2% increase compared to the previous week.
