Latest Food Prices in D.I. Yogyakarta: Salt Price Up, Bird's Eye Chili Down

Prices of several food items in D.I. Yogyakarta today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (October 24, 2025) at 14:30 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 increased and 11 decreased.

Commodities with price increases were consumption salt, broiler chicken meat, premium rice, mackerel, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red bird's eye chili, SPHP rice, garlic bulbs, medium rice, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumption salt recorded the highest jump of Rp318 (2.71%) to Rp12,056 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red bird's eye chili saw the sharpest drop of Rp3,188 (11.5%) to Rp24,526 per kg.

Below is the complete list of 23 food commodity prices in D.I. Yogyakarta according to Bapanas on October 24, 2025, at 14:30 WIB.

3. Curly Red Chili: Rp43,316 per kg (down 6.61%)
4. Mackerel: Rp40,308 per kg (up 0.77%)
5. Milkfish: Rp39,273 per kg (up 1.35%)
6. Shallots: Rp36,619 per kg (up 2.52%)
7. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp36,611 per kg (up 0.5%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp35,385 per kg (down 0.22%)
9. Garlic Bulbs: Rp30,000 per kg (down 1.27%)
10. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,889 per kg (up 1.01%)
