Today's Food Prices (09/12) in DKI Jakarta: Rice and Chicken Meat Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Food Staple Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (9/12/2025) at 3:06 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 increased and 3 decreased.

Commodities with rising prices are red onion, broiler chicken meat, medium rice, and beef hindquarter.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red bird's eye chili, curly red chili, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken meat commodity saw the highest jump of Rp250 (0.62%) to Rp40,333 per kg. The price of red bird's eye chili saw the deepest drop of Rp4,250 (4.51%) to Rp90,000 per kg.
