Indonesian Rupiah Strengthens to Rp 15,430 per US Dollar (Friday, December 2, 2022)

As of 10:43 WIB this morning, the rupiah exchange rate in the spot market is traded at Rp 15,430 per US dollar on Friday, December 2, 2022. This exchange rate strengthened by 0.85% compared to the previous day's closing, which was traded at Rp 15,562 per US dollar. Today's trading of the rupiah exchange rate is expected to move in the range of 15405 - 15635.

According to investing.com, the rupiah exchange rate in the spot market has risen by 1.5% in a week. Compared to 30 days earlier, the rupiah exchange rate in the spot market has strengthened by 0.76%.

However, for the one-year data range, the rupiah exchange rate in the spot market has actually decreased (strengthened). In the last year, the previous highest record reached Rp 15,740 per US dollar.

This morning, according to several major currencies monitored by Bank Indonesia, the South Korean won strengthened by 4.8 points (-0.37%) to KRW 1,299.77 per US dollar, the Japanese yen strengthened by 0.11 points (-0.08%), the Singapore dollar strengthened by 0.001 points (-0.07%), the euro weakened (+0.05%), and the Chinese yuan weakened by 0.01 points (+0.21%).
