Aceh Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down (Sunday, February 4, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (4/2/2024) at 11:28 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, red chilies, red chili peppers, garlic bulbs, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), bulk wheat flour, red onions, medium rice, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices saw the highest increase, jumping Rp2,230 (7.44%) to Rp32,220 per kg. Iodized fine salt prices saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp270 (1.88%) to Rp14,070 per kg.
