Bali Food Prices Tuesday (September 10th): Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (10/9/2024) at 12:57 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, SPHP rice, simple packaged cooking oil, granulated sugar, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic cloves, farmer-level corn, bulk wheat flour, skipjack tuna, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp1,340 (5.98%) to Rp23,740 per kg. The price of skipjack tuna decreased the most sharply by Rp1,150 (4.37%) to Rp25,150 per kg.
