Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Oil and Rice Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (10/9/2024) at 10:57 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, garlic bulbs, granulated sugar, simple packaged cooking oil, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, pure beef, chicken meat, bulk wheat flour, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies saw the highest increase, jumping Rp3,330 (9.3%) to Rp39,150 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of iodized fine salt saw the sharpest decrease, dropping Rp4,890 (30.22%) to Rp11,290 per kg.

5. Milkfish: Rp37,130 per kg (down 10.1%)
6. Shallots: Rp33,470 per kg (up 6.46%)
7. Chicken Meat: Rp33,370 per kg (down 7.07%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp32,600 per kg (down 6.29%)
9. Mackerel: Rp31,290 per kg (down 8.56%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,220 per kg (up 4.83%)
