Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (October 1, 2025) at 13.55 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 increased and 11 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include packaged wheat flour, curly red chili, consumption sugar, garlic bulbs, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, red bird's eye chili, milkfish, consumption salt, and packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic bulbs saw the highest jump of Rp1,457 (3.71%) to Rp40,765 per kg. Meanwhile, skipjack tuna prices experienced the deepest drop of Rp2,667 (5.71%) to Rp44,000 per kg.

6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp44.000 per kg (down 5.71%)
7. Shallots: Rp43.529 per kg (up 1.96%)
8. Mackerel: Rp41.875 per kg (down 3.36%)
9. Garlic Bulbs: Rp40.765 per kg (up 3.71%)
10. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp40.625 per kg (up 2.85%)
11. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29.222 per kg (up 0.03%)
12. Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp20.706 per liter (down 1.04%)
13. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp19.077 per liter (down 0.03%)
