Today's Food Price List in Banten: Oil and Sugar Prices Increase (Wednesday, March 13, 2024)

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (13/3/2024) at 09.07 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, premium rice, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, shallot bulbs, bulk cooking oil, dry soybean seeds (import), and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, up by Rp28,650 (40.15%) to Rp100,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean seeds (import) decreased the most, down by Rp2,380 (16.55%) to Rp12,000 per kg.

2. Red Chilies: Rp100,000 per kg (up 40.15%)
3. Red Chili Peppers: Rp80,000 per kg (up 22.44%)
4. Mackerel: Rp45,000 per kg (up 26.05%)
5. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp40,000 per kg (down 0.37%)
6. Shallot Bulbs: Rp36,000 per kg (down 2.23%)
7. Shallots: Rp35,000 per kg (up 15.44%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp32,000 per kg (down 1.02%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp32,000 per kg (up 4.07%)
10. Milkfish: Rp30,000 per kg (down 13.54%)
