Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Prices of Oil and Beef Rise

Food prices in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (29/7/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 18 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, red chilies, medium rice, mackerel, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, bulk wheat flour, simple packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp20,460 (29.42%) to Rp90,000 per kg. Broiler chicken prices decreased the most sharply, by Rp11,280 (30.26%) to Rp26,000 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 18 food commodities in DKI Jakarta according to Bapanas on July 29, 2024, at 08.01 WIB.

1. Pure Beef: Rp140,000 per kg (up 2.5%)
2. Red Chili: Rp90,000 per kg (up 29.42%)
3. Curly Red Chili: Rp50,000 per kg (up 0.81%)
4. Shallot: Rp45,000 per kg (up 19.24%)
5. Garlic Bulb: Rp40,000 per kg (down 6.35%)
6. Mackerel: Rp35,000 per kg (up 2.13%)
7. Milkfish: Rp32,000 per kg (down 21.34%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,000 per kg (down 13.77%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,000 per kg (down 2.71%)
10. Broiler Chicken: Rp26,000 per kg (down 30.26%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp19,000 per kg (up 2.81%)
12. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp17,000 per liter (up 2.1%)
13. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp17,000 per liter (down 5.87%)
