Today's Food Prices in West Java: Prices of Onions, Chilies, and Chicken Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (21/01/2025) at 09.19 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, farmer-level corn, curly red chilies, pure beef, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, premium rice, skipjack tuna, red chilies, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn prices saw the highest increase, jumping Rp515 (8.6%) to Rp6,500 per kg. Red onion prices experienced the sharpest decrease, dropping Rp1,969 (5.83%) to Rp31,798 per kg.
