Bali's Food Prices Today: What's the Price of Chicken?

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (19/6/2024) at 16.37 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include layer chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, garlic bulbs, dry soybean (import), and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, shallots, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp1,280 (12.34%) to Rp11,650 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of Indian mackerel saw the steepest decrease, down Rp8,690 (19.31%) to Rp36,310 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 20 food commodities in Bali according to Bapanas on June 19, 2024, at 16.37 WIB.

9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp28,720 per kg (down 4.27%)
