Current Food Prices in West Java: What's the Price of Buffalo Meat?

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (17/4/2025) at 17:18 WIB, out of 24 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dried soybean (import), packaged wheat flour, premium rice, curly red chilies, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as large red chilies, Minyakita (branded cooking oil), chicken eggs, granulated sugar, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp3,048 (5.81%), reaching Rp55,485 per kg. Chicken meat experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp620 (1.78%), reaching Rp34,192 per kg.
