West Sumatra Food Prices Wednesday (December 4th): What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (4/12/2024) at 15:26 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, bulk cooking oil, SPHP rice, fine iodized salt, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, milkfish, premium rice, medium rice, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,420 (3.95%) to Rp37,360 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chili peppers experienced the steepest decline, dropping Rp5,560 (13.22%) to Rp36,500 per kg.
