Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Salt Up, Rice Down (Saturday, February 24, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (24/2/2024) at 10:09 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, red chilies, bulk wheat flour, mackerel, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, chicken meat, premium rice, bulk cooking oil, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour saw the highest price increase of Rp820 (8.32%), reaching Rp10,680 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level saw the lowest decrease of Rp300 (3.97%), reaching Rp7,250 per kg.
