East Java Food Prices Wednesday (11/12): Egg, Chili, and Beef Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (11/12/2024) at 12:52 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include simple packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, pure beef, red chilies, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, iodized fine salt, medium rice, milkfish, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of shallot bulbs surged the highest, increasing by Rp510 (1.37%) to Rp37,830 per kg. The price of curly red chilies decreased the most, dropping by Rp640 (3.12%) to Rp19,860 per kg.
