The daily price of low-quality rice in traditional markets in East Kalimantan Province has decreased by 6.77% over the past month.

Latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel: the price of low-quality daily rice in traditional markets in East Kalimantan Province is recorded at Rp15,150. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day, similar to the price trend in the last week.

Compared to three days ago, the price of low-quality daily rice in traditional markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp16,250.

Meanwhile, the price of low-quality daily rice in traditional markets in East Kalimantan in the last three months has decreased by 4.11%. According to historical records of food prices on the PIHPS price panel, the price of low-quality daily rice in traditional markets in East Kalimantan Province is traded at Rp15,800.

The record high for the price of low-quality daily rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in December 2021 with an increase of 14.29%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in August 2023 with a decrease of -14.58%.

The PIHPS monitoring shows that the prices of basic necessities today in East Kalimantan recorded 22 commodities decreasing and four others increasing. Basic necessities with decreased prices are: Low-Quality Rice I, Red Chili, Chicken Meat, Red Chili Peppers, Granulated Sugar, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Red Onion, Green Chili Peppers, Quality 2 Beef, Fresh Layer Eggs, Super Quality Rice I, Chili Peppers, Medium-Sized Red Onion, Beef, Garlic, Medium Quality Rice I, Chicken Eggs, Keriting Red Chili, Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Rice, Medium-Sized Garlic, and Large Red Chili.
