Food Prices in Jakarta, Wednesday (September 11th): What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (11/9/2024) at 10:57 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are iodized fine salt, medium rice, and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, broiler chicken meat, mackerel, skipjack tuna, and broiler chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp680 (5.79%) to Rp12,430 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish experienced the largest price decrease of Rp5,320 (13.03%) to Rp35,520 per kg.
