Indonesia's Latest Food Prices: Chili Up, Salt Down (Tuesday, February 13, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (13/2/2024) at 10:23 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, farmer-level corn, broiler chicken, dry soybean (import), and kembung fish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, tongkol fish, garlic bulbs, granulated sugar, and bandeng fish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most by Rp1,980 (3.7%) to Rp55,550 per kg. Bandeng fish prices decreased the least by Rp850 (2.54%) to Rp32,610 per kg.
