Latest Food Prices in West Java: Oil Up, Onions Down (Sunday, February 4, 2024)

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (4/2/2024) at 09.09 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, farmer-level corn, simple packaged cooking oil, Indian mackerel, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, milkfish, medium rice, red chili peppers, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil experienced the highest price increase of Rp780 (5.0%) to Rp16,390 per liter. Meanwhile, shallots experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp3,460 (12.19%) to Rp24,920 per kg.
