Premium Quality Granulated Sugar Prices in Traditional Markets for the February 2025-2026 Period

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily price of premium quality granulated sugar in traditional markets in Jambi Province is recorded at Rp18,300. This price has remained unchanged compared to the previous day and also over the past week.

Compared to the price three days ago, the daily premium quality granulated sugar price in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp18,600.

Meanwhile, over the past three months in Jambi, the daily premium quality granulated sugar price in traditional markets has increased by 0.55% from the previously traded Rp18,200.

The record increase in daily premium quality granulated sugar prices in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in January 2021 with an increase of 28.72%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2021 with a decrease of -22.31%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in Jambi show that ten commodities have decreased and 12 others have increased. The staple foods with price decreases are Super I Quality Rice, Green Bird's Eye Chili, Chicken Eggs, Fresh Layer Chicken Eggs, Garlic, Medium-Sized Garlic, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat, Chicken Meat, Bird's Eye Chili, and Local Granulated Sugar.

5. Green Bird's Eye Chili per Kg: Rp54,350 per kg (down 18.9%)
6. Chicken Eggs per Kg: Rp24,850 per kg (down 5.15%)
7. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 per Kg: Rp18,100 per kg (up 0.56%)
8. Grade 2 Beef per Kg: Rp158,900 per kg (unchanged)
9. Granulated Sugar per Kg: Rp18,250 per kg (up 0.83%)
10. Medium II Quality Rice per Kg: Rp14,950 per kg (up 1.36%)
11. Shallots per Kg: Rp37,850 per kg (up 8.3%)
