East Java Food Price Update Today: Egg and Oil Prices Rise (Saturday, February 3, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (February 3, 2024) at 10:12 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 14 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, pure beef, bulk wheat flour, premium rice, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, dry soybean (import), granulated sugar, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp680 (6.92%) to Rp10,500 per kg. The price of Indian mackerel experienced the lowest decrease, down Rp3,810 (11.35%) to Rp29,770 per kg.

9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp25,810 per kg (up 0.08%)
10. Shallot: Rp25,690 per kg (down 0.62%)
