Jakarta, DKI Jakarta Food Price Update: Oil and Egg Prices Rise (Thursday, March 7, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (7/3/2024) at 12:04 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, red chilies, mackerel, red chili peppers, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase of Rp4,900 (6.23%) to Rp83,580 per kg. Granulated sugar experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp150 (0.91%) to Rp16,390 per kg.
