Aceh Food Price Update Today: Egg, Chili, and Onion Prices Rise (Monday, April 8, 2024)

Food prices in Aceh today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (8/4/2024) at 10:36 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 7 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, broiler chicken, medium-grain rice, skipjack tuna, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk wheat flour, dry soybean (import), fine iodized salt, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp7,030 (15.23%) to Rp53,190 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk cooking oil saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp330 (2.15%) to Rp15,050 per liter.
