Latest Bali Region Food Prices: What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

Food prices in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (21/5/2024) at 14.04 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, bulk cooking oil, shallots, red chilies, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as wheat flour (bulk), chicken eggs, milkfish, granulated sugar, and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel prices saw the highest increase, jumping Rp2,840 (8.39%) to Rp36,700 per kg. Milkfish prices saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp850 (2.32%) to Rp35,800 per kg.
