Price of Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat in Modern Markets for the Period April 2025-2026

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 17:23 WIB, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken meat in modern markets in North Sumatra province has not changed compared to the previous day, just like the price developments in the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken meat in modern markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp36,250 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken meat in modern markets in North Sumatra over the last three months has increased by 3.38% from the previously recorded price of Rp38,450 per kg.

The record increase in the daily price of fresh broiler chicken meat in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in September 2023 with an increase of 36.58%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in September 2023 with a decrease of -28.74%.

According to the PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine staple foods (sembako) today in North Sumatra show that one commodity has decreased and 18 others have increased. The staple food with a price decrease is Beef.

8. Red Chili per Kg Rp71,500 per kg (up 13.04%)
9. Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp41,150 per kg (up 6.47%)
10. Medium Quality I Rice per Kg Rp14,650 per kg (no change)
