Yogyakarta Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall (Sunday, March 10, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to be lower than yesterday's.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (10/3/2024) at 11:11 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged simple cooking oil, tongkol fish, bandeng fish, kembung fish, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, granulated sugar, red onions, fine iodized salt, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level surged the highest by Rp490 (4.9%) to Rp10,490 per kg. The price of dry soybean (import) decreased the lowest by Rp1,860 (14.07%) to Rp11,360 per kg.
