Current Jambi Region Food Prices: Prices of Red Chili Peppers, Sugar, and Chicken Meat Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (29/3/2025) at 12.17 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour, medium rice, bulk cooking oil, table salt, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, farmer-level corn, milkfish, broiler chicken, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp29,280 (32.28%) to Rp120,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of farmer-level corn fell the most sharply by Rp7,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
