Today's Food Prices in Bali: Rice Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (11/8/2024) at 09.34 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 14 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, dry soybean (import), SPHP rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, simple packaged cooking oil, red chili peppers, shallots, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp2,410 (6.71%) to Rp38,340 per kg. The price of curly red chilies decreased the most sharply, by Rp2,960 (8.12%) to Rp33,500 per kg.
