DKI Jakarta Food Prices Today: Red Bird's Eye Chili Prices Rise, Onion Prices Fall

Today, the prices of several food items in DKI Jakarta were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (October 4, 2025) at 12:14 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 increased and 4 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include bulk cooking oil, shallots, mackerel, packaged cooking oil, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken meat, medium rice, premium rice, and garlic bulbs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest increase of Rp2,668 (5.43%) to Rp51,786 per kg. Meanwhile, garlic bulb prices had the deepest decrease of Rp908 (2.23%) to Rp39,857 per kg.
