East Java Food Prices, Sunday (12/1): Egg Prices Rise, Onion Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (12/1/2025) at 11:30 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, chicken eggs, garlic cloves, SPHP rice, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, medium rice, premium rice, bulk cooking oil, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices surged the highest by Rp9,130 (39.24%) to Rp32,400 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of mackerel decreased the most sharply by Rp4,720 (15.88%) to Rp25,000 per kg.

5. Chicken Meat: Rp36,470 per kg (up 3.37%)
6. Red Onion: Rp35,000 per kg (down 5.3%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp32,400 per kg (up 39.24%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,000 per kg (up 5.11%)
9. Mackerel: Rp25,000 per kg (down 15.88%)
10. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp18,970 per liter (up 1.07%)
11. Consumption Sugar: Rp17,000 per kg (up 1.01%)
12. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp16,990 per liter (down 2.41%)
