Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta: Red Chili Prices Rise, Cooking Oil Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (13/4/2025) at 10:34 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, medium rice, garlic bulbs, skipjack tuna, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, bulk cooking oil, granulated sugar, packaged cooking oil, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp4,449 (8.43%), reaching Rp57,200 per kg. Minyakita experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp235 (1.44%), reaching Rp16,122 per liter.
