Banten Food Prices on Monday (July 22nd): Salt, Beef, and Egg Prices Increase

Food prices in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (22/7/2024) at 10:45 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, SPHP rice, broiler chicken, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and medium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, farmer-level corn, dry soybean (import), milkfish, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp8,900 (13.5%) to Rp74,820 per kg. Farmer-level corn prices decreased the most, by Rp440 (5.65%) to Rp7,350 per kg.
