Jakarta, DKI Jakarta Food Price Update: Beef, Sugar, and Chicken Prices Down (Wednesday, December 13, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (13/12/2023) at 10:34 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased in price and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, garlic cloves, shallots, bulk wheat flour, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, dry soybean (import), red chilies, fine iodized salt, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic cloves saw the highest price increase of Rp890 (2.27%) to Rp40,090 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of mackerel experienced the lowest decrease of Rp2,320 (6.32%) to Rp34,380 per kg.
