Latest Food Prices in East Java: Prices of Oil, Chicken, and Onions Rise

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (24/10/2024) at 13:55 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, red chilies, garlic cloves, simple packaged cooking oil, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, chicken eggs, tongkol fish, milkfish, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp860 (2.64%) to Rp33,440 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of mackerel fish decreased the most by Rp560 (1.69%) to Rp32,540 per kg.
