Healthcare Costs in Metro City Increased by 0.37% in June

Inpatient care costs in Metro City in June were 0.37%. This figure is lower than the previous month's 0.49%. Among the eight inflation groups measured in this region, the health group contributed 0.37% to regional inflation.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported that the consumer price index (CPI) for health in Metro City was at 100 in June 2024, lower than the previous month's 100.

Compared to the same month last year, health inflation has fallen by 8.71% (year-on-year/YoY). Compared to the beginning of the year, expenditure in Metro City has shown 0% growth (year-to-date/YTD).

Based on BPS survey data for June 2024, these 11 inflation groups ranked third compared to other subgroups.
