Today's Food Price Update in Jambi: Beef and Chili Prices Rise (Wednesday, January 24, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (24/1/2024) at 14.22 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are shallots, broiler chicken, red chilies, red cayenne peppers, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red onions, milkfish, skipjack tuna, mackerel, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase of Rp3,100 (7.78%) to Rp42,970 per kg. Milkfish had the lowest price decrease of Rp2,000 (7.18%) to Rp25,850 per kg.
