Bali Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down (Friday, February 16, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (16/2/2024) at 10:24 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, dry soybeans (import), bulk wheat flour, pure beef, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), medium rice, curly red chilies, and fine iodized salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest at Rp4,420 (8.59%) to Rp55,850 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of skipjack tuna decreased the most at Rp1,950 (8.12%) to Rp22,070 per kg.

8. Red Onions: Rp27,660 per kg (down 0.58%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp25,920 per kg (down 0.96%)
10. Skipjack Tuna: Rp22,070 per kg (down 8.12%)
