Current Food Prices in Bali: Oil Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (24/10/2024) at 13.06 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, mackerel, dry soybeans (import), medium rice, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, premium rice, shallots, curly red chilies, and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel prices saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp730 (2.06%) to Rp36,090 per kg. Red chili prices saw the sharpest decrease, falling by Rp1,190 (3.14%) to Rp36,720 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 21 food commodities in Bali according to Bapanas on October 24, 2024, at 13.06 WIB.

6. Shallots: Rp35,440 per kg (down 0.23%)
7. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp26,460 per kg (down 0.64%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp24,990 per kg (up 2.04%)
9. Red Onions: Rp24,160 per kg (up 0.83%)
10. Curly Red Chilies: Rp19,020 per kg (down 2.56%)
