Banten's Daily Food Price List: Chili Pepper, Beef, and Cooking Oil Prices Increase (Saturday, January 20, 2024)

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (20/1/2024) at 14.05 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, garlic bulbs, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, premium rice, granulated sugar, medium rice, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna saw the highest increase, jumping Rp2,690 (8.42%) to Rp34,640 per kg. Iodized fine salt saw the lowest price decrease, dropping Rp1,260 (11.62%) to Rp9,580 per kg.
