Beef Prices in Traditional Markets of South Sulawesi Province Increased by 0.8% in the Last Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of beef in traditional markets in South Sulawesi Province is recorded at Rp126,000. This price is up Rp1,000 compared to the previous day.

Over the past month, the daily price of beef in traditional markets has increased from Rp125,000.

Meanwhile, the daily price of beef in traditional markets in South Sulawesi over the past three months has increased by 0.8% from the previous price of Rp125,000.

The record high for the daily price of beef in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in July 2016 with an increase of 60.33%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2020 with a decrease of -9.82%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Sulawesi show seven commodities decreased and 20 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are: Type I Low-Quality Rice, Daily Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Super II Rice, Super I Rice, Daily Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Local Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price changes over the past month in South Sulawesi Province:

3. Type II Low-Quality Rice per Kg: Rp12,350 (unchanged)
4. Type I Low-Quality Rice per Kg: Rp12,200 (down 0.41%)
5. Cooking Oil per Kg, daily in Traditional Markets by Province: Rp19,400 (up 1.04%)
6. Red Chilies per Kg, daily in Traditional Markets by Province: Rp65,050 (down 3.49%)
7. Chilies per Kg, daily in Traditional Markets by Province: Rp58,150 (down 2.1%)
