Banten Food Prices on Monday (November 25th): Salt Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

Food prices in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (25/11/2024) at 12:06 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, shallot bulbs, red onions, dry soybean (import), and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), broiler eggs, granulated sugar, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel fish saw the highest increase, up by Rp2,580 (7.37%) to Rp37,570 per kg. The price of corn at the farmer level saw the sharpest decrease, down by Rp610 (7.66%) to Rp7,350 per kg.
