Jambi Region Food Prices Today: Chili Prices Up, Oil Prices Down

The price of several food commodities in Jambi today is observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (6/12/2024) at 09.15 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, medium rice, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, mackerel, dry soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,410 (4.26%), reaching Rp34,470 per kg. Milkfish experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp3,010 (9.87%), reaching Rp27,500 per kg.
